The BENEslider The most popular application for skeletal anchorage uses mini-implants/TAD‘s with abutments to achieve molar- distalization and/mesiali- zation in the maxilla. Using the BENEslider the molars can be bodily distalized and or mesialized using the Mesialslider and in many cases avoiding tooth extraction or dental implants to be placed. By combining two BENEfit ® Mini-implants and a BENEplate the prewelded wire can be connected to the implants and the BENEsliders parts ( mobilizer, springs, BENEtube ) which can then placed on the wire.The BENEplate can be sited median or paramedian. Active force is applied with Springs (240 g or 500 g) and activated with the mobilizer. Eine der klassischen Indikationen für eine skelettale Verankerung und insbesondere für Mini-Implantate mit Abutments stellt die Molarendis- talisierung/-mesialisierung im Oberkiefer dar. Mittels des so genannten „ BENEslider “ können die Molaren körperlich distalisiert werden. Mit Hilfe des Mesialsliders werden Zähne körperlich mesialisiert. So kann in vielen Fällen die Extraktion von bleibenden Zähnen und/oder dentale Implantate vermieden werden. Zur Verbindung zweier BENEfit® Mini-Implantate wird eine BENEplate mit Draht auf die Implantate geschraubt und die BENEslider Teile (Mobilisator, Federn, BENEtube ) auf den Draht aufgesteckt. Die ausführende Kraft wird über eine Feder (240 g oder 500 g) mittels Mobilisator aktiviert.
